The 12th Exhibition of the “Reuse: Developing Ecological Awareness and Social Sharing Project,” conducted on behalf of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences at Social Sciences University of Ankara, opened on May 14, 2025, in the Preparatory Building-Middle Garden.
In addition to SSUA administrative and academic staff, a large number of students attended the exhibition opening. At the exhibition, Rector Prof. Dr. Musa Kazım Arıcan and project coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nagihan Gür gave speeches emphasizing the importance of the project in promoting social sharing and ecological awareness. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gür stated that they had consistently continued their “Reuse” exhibitions, which they started with a table in 2017, for 8 years and that the use of second-hand items had become a culture within the University. Rector Prof. Dr. Arıcan pointed out that the “Reuse” project was designed with academic sensitivity, stating that the exhibitions are an important part of SSUA's goal of creating a sustainable and environmentally conscious campus and that they want to transform “Reuse” into a larger, externally supported project.
All SSUA staff and students benefited from the “Reuse” exhibition, which was open throughout the day, free of charge.
