Assoc. Prof. Evrim Türkçelik who is a faculty member of ASBU Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of History, has been selected as a "Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow" (2024-2025) in the field of history by the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence. The Fernand Braudel Senior Fellow Fellowship gives the opportunity to experienced academics in the field of social sciences to conduct research at the EUI for a certain period of time.
Assoc. Prof. Evrim Türkçelik will conduct project research on Ottoman-Spanish relations in Florence, exchange views with EUI History Department researchers and represent our university on an international academic platform.
