Prof. Selim Ferruh Adalı, member of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Department of History, participated in the conference organized by the International Assyriological Association (IAA). These annual conferences are held since the 1950s and are the meeting place for Assyriologists from around the world. The 69th conference organized this year was held in Helsinki with Helsinki University, Faculty of Arts, as the host. Prof. Adalı was elected to the Board of the IAA during the previous year and this year participated in the Board's duties for the working of the conference, the general assembly, and the committee for the election of the best PhD dissertation prize for 2024.
