Social Sciences University of Ankara (SSUA) achieved significant success in the 2026 European University Rankings prepared by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). In the ranking, which evaluated higher education institutions from 42 countries and regions across Europe, SSUA ranked 76th in Turkey and entered the top 1000 universities in Europe, placing in the 701-900 range.
Established in 2013 as a thematic state university in the field of social sciences, SSUA began its education and training activities in 2016, with its first graduates receiving their degrees in 2021. In the short time since its establishment, the university's national and international academic visibility has steadily increased. The QS 2026 results serve as a concrete indicator of this progress.
